Kallappanna Awade Jawahar Sugar Factory Receives Best Award By STAI
The award was presented by The Sugar Technologists Association of India, New Delhi, handed over by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and accepted on behalf of the factory by Vice-Chairman Babaso Chougule and Managing Director Manohar Joshi (along with other directors and officials),The recognition acknowledges the factory's advanced technology contributions to the sugar industry, high-quality sugar production, and excellence in operational efficiency and work practices.

The prestigious national honor was conferred by The Sugar Technologists Association of India, New Delhi, and handed over by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant during their 84th annual convention. The accolade was graciously accepted on behalf of the cooperative by Executive Director Manohar Joshi, Vice-Chairman Babaso Chougule, and other leading factory officials.

A workshop was recently conducted at Yashwant Mangal Karyalaya, Hupari, under the Jawahar Sugar Factory’s Sugarcane Development Scheme to guide farmers on modern practices and techniques for increasing sugarcane productivity.

The workshop was attended by senior director Prakashanna Awade, former VSI scientist Suresh Mane Patil, Zilla Parishad member Sanika Awade-Patil Yadravkar, Cane Committee Chairman Dadaso Sangave, directors Suraj Bedge, Prakash Patil, Sanjaykumar Kothali, Gautam Ingle, Subhash Jadhav, Shital Amannavar, Sunil Nare and Abhay Kashmire, former director Shekhar Patil, progressive farmer Vijay Kumbhoje, General Manager (Cane) Kiran Kamble, Vice Chairman Babasaheb Chougule, along with agricultural staff and a large number of farmers.
Workshop Held to Increase Sugarcane Production
A sugarcane productivity workshop was recently organized at Yashwant Mangal Karyalaya, Hupari, under the chairmanship of Sahakar Maharshi Kallappanna Awade. Experts guided farmers on improved seeds, balanced fertilizers, suitable sugarcane varieties, water management, drip irrigation, and other modern practices to increase yields. Directors, officials, agricultural staff, and a large number of farmers attended the workshop, which concluded with a vote of thanks.
